Between the 2-4th of October 2009, Hypermarket CORA and the Little people Association Cluj raised 14 shopping trolleys full of food for the Oncology Institute “I. Chiricuta”. CORA asked if volunteers from the little people could help with the “Harvest Days” project and talk to the customers and encourage them to donate fruits and veggies to the institute’s kitchen. Over 1140 CORA shoppers bought something: potatos, carrots, cabbage, oil, salt, paprika, apples, vinegar, cauliflower, flour, sugar, bananas, onions and other products.

On Monday the 5th all the products were delivered to the institute’s kitchen. Staff was delighted to receive the donation and were surprised with the quantity.
